What has happened to you does not define who you are. The words spoken over you in the past are lies. You are a woman who deserves safety, love, freedom, dignity, and hope.
I know the future may feel uncertain and the thought of life beyond exploitation impossible. I once believed that too—that I was worth nothing more than the pain I was living in. But that was a lie. Healing and joy beyond trafficking are possible. There are people who see you, believe in you, and want to walk with you toward freedom. You are not alone.
I understand how frightening it feels to trust what you’ve never experienced, to hope in the unseen. Taking the first step toward healing can feel overwhelming. But no matter how dark your circumstances seem, your story is not finished. Your future does not belong to those who harmed you—it can be redeemed by a Savior who restores what has been taken.
Please remember you are strong. Stronger than you may even know. Support and hope are waiting for you here at Her Song. And if you are struggling to believe it, borrow the hope I hold for you today.
You are loved. You are valued. Your life has a purpose beyond trafficking.
My encouragement to you reading this is to take one small step today. Reach out and talk to someone here at Her Song and open the door just a little. There is a safe place waiting for you that offers safety, faith, hope, and love.

Our program is designed to meet you where you are—with safety, support, and a path forward. We’ll walk alongside you as you heal and grow, without pressure and without shame.
We know that taking your next steps toward help can feel daunting. Her Song is here to help you navigate these next steps and make them as easy as possible.
To take the first step toward receiving help, call our Hope Line at 1-844-HERHOPE, text 904-568-6173 or email us at referrals@hersong.org. Our Survivor Care Team is available to respond during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. If you reach our voicemail, please leave a message—we will return your call by the next business day.
When you call the hope line phone number, the Survivor Care Team member will complete an over-the-phone screening and needs assessment with you. All information provided will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.

Please be aware that we ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY SHELTER. If you need emergency housing, call "211" or visit the United Way website at www.unitedway.org.
Our residential program is structured in three phases, guided by an evidence-based theory of change that facilitates your healing journey from a survival-based existence to purposeful, self-sufficient living. Each phase is carefully designed and tailored to your needs to promote healing and empowerment in a trauma-informed environment for a period of one year or longer.
While Her Song is faith-led and inspired, we are not a faith-based program. By attending Her Song’s program, you will never be forced to participate in any faith-based activities as a part of our trauma-informed program.
You fill out the inquiry linked here to begin the process of applying to Her Song's program.
We want to make sure that Her Song is the right fit to best support you and your goals for healing and growth. To help us understand your needs, we take time to get to know you through an inquiry, application, and interview process. Our goal is always to ensure you’re placed in the setting where you can receive the most meaningful care and support.
Our program lasts for at least 12 -18 months (with phase 1 lasting for approximately 6-9 months and phase 2 lasting for approximately 6-9 months).
When you come to Her Song’s program, you may be giving up some of the routines, relationships, or distractions that have been part of your life—but what you gain in return is far greater. When you choose to join our program, you’re choosing to invest in yourself—your healing, your growth, and your future. This is a time set apart, free from distractions, where you can focus fully on building life skills and restoring the hope that may have once felt lost. The journey does take personal commitment—what you pour into this experience will shape what you gain from it. This program is intentionally designed to give you the space and support to focus on you—to make choices for your well-being and create room for true healing to begin.
Our first and primary goal is the safety and healing of survivors, both emotionally and spiritually. We will never ask you to share your story with us. And if at any time you decide to share any parts of your story with us, everything that is disclosed remains confidential and will never be shared outside of Her Song’s organization.
Cell phones are not allowed in the first phase of the program (6-9 months). Residents are allowed cell phones in the second phase, but with restrictions.
The first 30 days are a “rest period” with no phone calls or letters allowed. After the first 30 days, then you can work with the residential team to create a safe contact list and use staff phones/home phones to make phone calls.
For safety and coordination, participants are not permitted to come and go freely during the program. Transportation is scheduled based on what is scheduled and staff availability.
You are allowed to use vapes and cigarettes in designated areas, but Her Song will not purchase those for you.
While medical costs are not included in our program coverage, we try to actively collaborate with community partners to assist clients in accessing all the care they require for emergent needs.
Yes, the third phase of Her Song’s program is considered our empowered living program, which is a transitional program for survivors to pursue independent living with access to Her Song’s network of support.
Our residential program is provided at no cost to you.
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. English, Spanish, and 200 more languages are available.
If you need emergency assistance, call 911.
