HerSong Jacksonville Story

Jacksonville is where the Her Song mission began.

Founded in 2012, this city became the birthplace of our vision to serve survivors of human trafficking with dignity, care, and hope. In 2013, we launched our first street and community outreach efforts, building trust and forming relationships with women in vulnerable situations. By 2014, we extended our reach into jails and prisons, meeting women in some of their most difficult moments and offering a path to healing.

In 2017, we opened our very first safe home—right here in Jacksonville—marking a pivotal moment in our ability to provide long-term residential care. Just two years later, we expanded to offer a full, three-phase residential program across three dedicated homes, supporting women through every stage of their healing journey.

In 2020, we joined forces with the Tim Tebow Foundation, opening the door for nationwide growth and broader support for survivors across the country. Even as our reach expands, Jacksonville remains a vital hub of our mission—and a beacon of hope for so many.

Today, Her Song continues to grow, we’re excited to share that plans are underway to open a new safe home in Jacksonville in 2025. We are deeply rooted in this community and committed to walking alongside more women as they step into freedom and a new future.
